In cooperation with chambers across Canada, the Mactaquac Country Chamber of Commerce is able to provide members with a comprehensive group insurance plan, even for sole proprietors. Coverage is designed around the needs of small business owners and their families and includes benefits such as health, dental, vision care, travel, short and long-term disability, life insurance and critical illness insurance.

First Data Canada, through the Atlantic Chamber of Commerce we are able to offer our members preferential credit card and debit card transaction rates.

You may be able to deduct membership dues as an ordinary business expense (consult your accountant).

As a Chamber member you can submit job postings to be placed on the website.

The more people you meet, the more new customers you can develop. Regular Chamber events such as the Annual Meeting, the Annual Business Recognition Awards Banquet and many other small gatherings, provide an opportunity to network in a relaxed setting.

The Mactaquac Country Chamber of Commerce, through its Tourism Committee develops an annual advertising campaign that includes the production of a tourism promotional piece and management of Ambassadors who represent Mactaquac Country throughout the Province.

Your Chamber membership provides you with a free listing on our website www.MactaquacCountry.com, giving people around the world access to your business through linkages to major business and tourism sites. This website further provides an events calendar where Member events can be listed.

The Chamber office receives phone calls from people seeking your goods and services. We only refer members. Also, we encourage members to patronize other members of the Chamber.

As a Chamber member, you have the opportunity to participate in Provincial, Atlantic and National Chamber events. The Mactaquac Country Chamber of Commerce participates in the Provincial Chamber of Commerce Board meetings.

The Atlantic Progress is the leading business magazine in Atlantic Canada. All members automatically receive a free subscription to this monthly magazine (contact the Chamber office for a subscription form).
